How our Clients are Reaching Out to the Local Community
Clients of the Orange County Convention Center leave us with more than a memory of a fantastic convention or show. They also make a lasting imprint on the local community through their contributions. Here are just a few of the many amazing examples of their generosity. |
| The Global Pet Expo (March 16-18, 2011) donated $250,000 in pet supplies from its exhibitors to SPCA Organization (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). |
| The Southern Women’s Show (October 14-17, 2010) donated $25,000 in food to the Coalition for the Homeless. |
| The American Dental Association (October 9-12, 2010) made donations to A Gift for Teaching. |
| FNATS Landscape Show (September 23-25, 2010) donated all remaining trees and plants to Give Kids the World. |
| The International Youth Convention of the Church of God (July 15-18, 2010) donated $15,000 worth of remaining food to 60,000 Meals. |
| Coverings (April 27-30, 3010) donated $75,000 worth of tile to the Tile Partners for Humanity organization. |
| Several other groups have made major donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Habitat for Humanity - Florida School Nutrition Association (April 29-30, 2010), Interbev (September 22-24, 2010), AARP (September 30-October 2, 2010), Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association (March 11-13, 2010), The Southeast Building Conference(July 22-24, 2010), Fencetech (February 17-19, 2010), Fresh Summit (October 15-18, 2010), Orgill Spring Dealer Market (February 25-27, 2010)and Ace Hardware (October 28-30, 2010). |
