Area Developments - Pointe Orlando
Pointe Orlando, a 450,000-square foot open-air center with restaurants, entertainment and retail is currently undergoing a major redevelopment, including significant changes to the International Drive façade and overall tenant mix. Additional changes include enhanced lighting and landscaping as well as new storefronts reminiscent of a city streetscape.

- Tommy Bahama Café and Emporium, located on International Drive across from The Capital Grille, is scheduled to open its retail store mid-November 2006 with its restaurant scheduled to open December 7, 2006 at 5pm. The store will have a full selection of men’s and women’s wear as well as home furnishings. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and will feature a new menu with signature dishes including Saba Steak Salad, Tommy’s World Famous Coconut Shrimp and the Barbados Brownie. The restaurant has 300 seats including an outdoor patio and semi private meeting space.
- The Grape is also located along International Drive in 3,000 square feet overlooking a newly-formed courtyard. The Grape is an upscale wine concept that combines a wine bar and retail seller under one roof, offering more than 120 wines. In addition, a full menu of small-plate gourmet fare designed to complement the wine list is available for lunch and dinner. Since opening its first location in Atlanta in 2000, The Grape has offered an interactive experience that is entertaining for all guests regardless of their knowledge of wine. The Grape seats 150 people including an outdoor patio and is scheduled to open on December 8, 2006.
- Redrock Canyon Grill will be located along International Drive in 7,000 square feet. Customers of Redrock Canyon Grill will enjoy Southwest and American cuisine served in a casual, energetic atmosphere. The dramatic exhibition kitchen and wood burning stone rotisserie complete the experience. The menu will feature fresh, made-from-scratch items such as wood fired rotisserie chicken, grilled or smoked fish, mustard crusted pork chops and barbecue St. Louis ribs. The restaurant will open in early 2007.
- Pizzeria Valdiano will offer a menu filled with authentic Italian favorites including pizza by the slice, stromboli, pastas and salads. Customers can complement their meal with beer or wine. This 1,800-square foot restaurant will be located across from the new Muvico Pointe 21 Ticket Lobby. Pizzeria Valdiano will offer lunch, dinner and take-out. The restaurant is scheduled to open in early 2007.
The above tenants will join The Capital Grille (opened on March 27, 2006) and scheduled to open in early 2007 Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Taverna Opa and B.B. King Blues Club. Many of the restaurants opening at Pointe Orlando are new to the marketplace. Signed retail tenants include Brighton Collectibles, Maggie Moo’s, SGH (Sunglass Hut), Spencer’s and The Discovery Channel. These retailers will join existing tenants including Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, Hooters, Adobe Gila’s, Muvico Pointe 21 Theaters, WonderWorks, Victoria’s Secret, AIX Armani Exchange, Chico’s, Bath & Body Works, Express, Boardwalk Surf & Sport, Tharoo, FootLocker and B.Dalton.
